• HomeKit Remote Control: To activate remote control with HomeKit, you must have either a HomePod, an Apple TV 4K, Apple TV HD, or an iPad. Designate one of these Apple devices within your home as the HomeKit bridge and link it to your home Wi-Fi network. Remember, your HomeKit bridge needs to remain online; if it loses power or is disconnected from Wi-Fi, it will not be able to respond when you try to control the device from a distance.
