If your system does not have a C wire, we provide a C wire adapter (Not C Wire) in the package, which you will need to connect to your HVAC system to supply power to the thermostat. NOTE: IF YOU DON'T HAVE THESE WIRES, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO USE OUR THERMOSTAT: 3 wires: Y/Y1, G, and R (or RC or RH) or 4 wires: W/W1, Y/Y1, G, and R (or RC or RH).
